The bird's beak, also called a tourné knife, has a short blade that curves down like a hook. That curve follows the shape of an apple, potato, or mushroom, which makes peeling, coring, hulling strawberries, and cutting garnishes feel easy and controlled. This 2.5" Petite Messer comes with a matching sheath, so it can ride along safely in a picnic basket, lunch bag, or knife drawer.
