The blade is hot-drop forged from German 4116 high-carbon stainless steel and tempered to 58 Rockwell, so it takes a keen edge, holds it, and resists corrosion. Full-tang construction with triple riveted handles gives good balance, and the curved, recessed bolster supports your thumb and fingers for a secure pinch grip. The marbled red and orange acrylic handle is tough and comfortable. Made in the USA by Lamson, with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
