Alan Folts' Minimalist line packs a useful fixed blade into a tiny, light package that rides around your neck, in a pocket or on a pack. The short handle is shaped for a secure grip with just a few fingers, and it is as handy around the house as it is in the woods.

The Bowie version has a 2.13" clip-point blade of 5Cr15MoV high-carbon stainless that takes an edge easily, with a bead-blast finish that cuts down on glare. The green Micarta handle is strong and good-looking, and the thermoplastic sheath has mounting options. Just 1.6 oz.
