Retired Sgt. Major and custom knifemaker Kit Carson of Vine Grove, Kentucky designed the M21 series to be a heavy-duty work folder at a fair price. A big, deep-bellied spear-point blade does the cutting up front, a tough, insulating G10 handle keeps your hand comfortable, and the automated liner safety adds an extra layer of lock security.

The 04G has a plain-edge 1.4116 stainless blade with a corrosion-resistant coating, and the flipper puts it out fast.
