CRKT M16-14SFG Special Forces Tanto, Veff Serrations, Black G10

Kit Carson's M16 is one of CRKT's best-known working folders, built for function over fashion. Carson's flipper opens the blade and doubles as a guard, and the automated liner safety adds an extra layer of lock security.

The Special Forces model combines M16 features requested by military procurement specialists. The dual-grind tanto blade was chosen for maximum strength, and the open build allows two Carson flippers that form a true hilt, which is rare on a folder. Veff Serrations cut rope and straps with ease, the 1.4116 blade wears a black Teflon coating, and the G10 handle grips well in all conditions.
