Named for the hills around designer Lucas Burnley's hometown of Bend, Oregon, the Butte takes its lines from traditional hunting knives and builds them with modern materials. Burnley calls it a modern classic.
The flipper and assisted opening on an IKBS ball-bearing pivot put the blade out fast and smooth, and the Deadbolt lock is very strong and simple to use. The stonewash D2 clip-point blade holds its edge, the contoured OD green G10 handle grips well even when wet, and a deep-carry clip keeps it low in the pocket.
