Jim Hammond designed the P.S.D. (Particle. Separation. Device.) to do one thing very well: slice. The blade has a full recurve and an efficient double grind, and the assisted-opening flipper on an IKBS ball-bearing pivot puts it out in the blink of an eye.
The 1.4116 stainless blade has a satin finish and is easy to keep sharp. The handle layers carbon fiber over a G10 base for strength with light weight, the liner lock closes easily with one hand, and a pocket clip keeps it secure.
