Kit Carson's M16 is one of CRKT's best-known working folders, built for function over fashion. Carson's flipper opens the blade and doubles as a guard, and the automated liner safety adds an extra layer of lock security.
The 14ZLEK is set up for rescue work: a 3.75" AUS 8 tanto blade with Triple Point serrations and a black titanium nitride finish cuts fibrous material with ease, and a seat belt cutter and glass breaker are built in. The handle uses CRKT's InterFrame build, with textured glass-reinforced nylon scales over a 420J2 stainless liner frame, assembled with Torx fasteners.
