Modeled after the legendary MACVSOG blade dating back to the Vietnam conflict, it features sure but comfortable jimping. The Recondo blade is made of American CPM S35VN and is PVD coated and features full tang construction with exposed and radiused tang edges. This is done to reduce rolling in the hand and add impact strength to the handle. The scales are strongly contoured to give a sure and comfortable grip and the pommel end features a beveled skull crusher. The sheath is molded of .080 thick Boltaron and features a custom molded, removable belt loop with a wear tensioner feature, ample tie down points/slots for alternative mounting solutions, thumb push off jimping and drain feature. The Recondo was designed and built in the USA, from 100% USA sourced materials.
