Buck Knives 843 Sprint Ops- Marble Carbon Fiber, CPM S45VN Steel
The reverse tanto blade shape gives the knife piercing strength while also giving you the smooth cutting surface of a drop point. The blade is CPM S45VN steel tempered with Buck’s famous BOS heat-treat; the blade offers improved corrosion and wear resistance while maintaining a sharp edge through challenging tasks. The blade is Cerakote® coated to provide further corrosion resistance and durability. The handle is a lightweight yet extremely strong, marbled carbon fiber. The knife includes a Cerakote® coated, removable, deep carry pocket clip.
CPM S45VN is a newer, martensitic stainless steel designed to offer improved corrosion and wear resistance over other leading steels. These properties make it a solid choice for blades intended for heavy use, such as an everyday carry or work knife. Rc 59-61
